About Us

Recruitment Management Solutions was established 5 years ago with one ambition in mind, to make the recruitment process for clients simple & affordable. We looked at the service that traditional Recruitment Agencies offered & identified areas that add little value to the recruitment process but inflate the cost to clients, some of these were:

image To reduce our overheads. We attract the majority of our candidates via online resources and therefore we don’t need to occupy expensive, high street premises in every location we operate in. By having only one office (based in the UK) & ensuring that all of our staff are working efficiently we can significantly reduce our costs.
image We developed state of the art technology that does some of the initial sourcing, sifting and matching of candidates to vacancies. This doesn’t mean our entire process is automated; we understand the need to have experienced Recruitment Consultants making informed decisions on your behalf but our technology does reduce a large amount of the time Consultants traditionally spend on administrative tasks.
image We don’t try to justify high fees with low cost “added value” services that clients don’t really want. We do exactly what you need - source quality candidates, identify the skills & experience you require, telephone interview the candidates & arrange client facing interviews. We also handle the feedback process to candidates following interview.

Who are we?

The driving forces behind Recruitment Management Solutions are Michelle Edmonds and Gail Brittle.

Michelle Edmonds - MD

After 9 years as a Call Centre Manager for a leading High Street Bank Michelle joined the UK’s No 1 independent recruitment agency as a CRM Manager. Initially responsible for candidate attraction and handling candidate response from their company website and then the use of external online media she was responsible for the procurement of jobboard advertising, design of advertising campaigns, advice on where to source candidates & the training of branch staff to write effective adverts. This service was so successful internally that the service was extended commercially to other agencies. After 4 years of helping others to source candidates for clients she decided to “cut out the middle man” and offer the service herself.

Gail Brittle - Director of Recruitment Services


With almost 30 years experience within the industry, Gail brings a wealth of expertise to the team . She enjoyed a long, successful career with one of the largest independent recruitment agencies in the UK, joining the company in 1979 as a Permanent Consultant, with appointment to the board of Directors 5years later, Her experience includes “hands-on” consultancy work, branch, company, and major account management. Qualified in psychometric testing to level A/B with the British Psychological Society, Gail was also responsible for the introduction and development of competency based recruitment services and products.
